In Germany, for example, the perception of men crying during a movie and feeling touched by it would be considered as being a “Weichei” (translated literally: soft egg) or a “Flasche” (bottle) who is not a real man. But it is actually perceived quite differently from many women since they think ‘There is nothing wrong in showing your real emotions. On the contrary it shows that the men has also feelings.’ And I must say that I agree, to some extent we are all human beings with emotions. Some of us might feel emotions in a deeper way, other ones might feel more superficially but I’m sure some kind of emotions each of us has in his/her heart. There are some who don’t feel bad in admitting it and show their tears in public and others who feel ashamed.
