I would say from the 62 movies that I’ve seen there might be maybe five or six movies that haven’t touched me at all. Which one the most touching movie is, is difficult to say, to be honest. Each movie has its own touching moments and often there are lots! Spontaneously I would say: Veer Zara, Baghban, Munnabhai MBBS, Mohabbatein, Black, Waqt, Apne and many more.
I would go for the most undisputed 0ne Taare zameen par,I cried like anything…..
When I mentioned “many more” than ‘Taare Zameen par – Every child is special’ was also included in it. I think this is a movie which every parent and every teacher should watch. Sometimes when you want to learn something it is more effective to see ‘how not to do it’. Aamir Khan played his role splendidly and I wonder whether he would have become a teacher if he wouldn’t have become an actor…... This movie also touched me, unfortunately it was the only one I saw from the internet in which the first part had subtitles and the second part (the crucial and important part in which A. Khan entered the scene) didn’t. Therefore I still have to see the proper version with English subtitles in this regard. But you don’t need to be able to understand the language 100 % in order to understand the core idea, the moral behind the movie. It reminded me of the book I wrote in 2004 about the importance of praising people (in particular children, in order to enhance their self confidence—> which is so important!)
It will be our Oscar Nomination this year supposedly…...I went to the plex to watch it…In the plex itself moms were hugging their children kissing them cuddling them after the movie.At the end it received a standing ovation…..It was the best film ‘07.
And yes the way Aamir and Darsheel acted words were not reqd to describe their feelings…...
