As a parent don't lock a widow (your daughter-in-law) inside the house for the rest of her life. Try instead of making her happy and give her some freedom. She already had to suffer in the past by overcoming the death of her husband.

Sometimes it is required to break the rules in order to be happy. Life is bigger than traditions.

In love there are no limits in time.

If you love someone let the person know how you feel. It could be that the person considers you just as a friend, but you feel love for this person. Be quick in telling your beloved one how you really feel. Otherwise someone else might take your place!

If you are not lucky to get married to the person you love, never give up. In life you never know. Your loved one might loose his/her partner and you might still have a second chance later on.
