Bollywood movie: Mohabbatein - Life Lessons to be learnt

If you are not familiar with the movie "Mohabbatein" then please read the summary at the following website:: www.imdb.com/title/tt0213890/plotsummary.

Life Lessons to be learnt:

  • Behind every great success lies a great sacrifice. Remember that before you succeed you might have to fail many times.

  • Don't apply for jobs but create your own job, take the initiative and sell your idea to a potential employer who might benefit from your skills and service. (A violin teacher who has been hired by a college Director).

  • In doing this, wait for the right moment and get other people interested in what you can do for them (or what might offer them some benefit).

  • If you are a person who doesn't like change, then watch out for people who implement change even in small things. Be it the chairs seating arrangement or whatsoever. This might be a signal that they might be changing many more things in the future.

  • If you love someone, just go and tell her/him.

  • Don't dare touching a woman's cleavage, you might get slapped for it.

  • Never forget your child's birthday!

  • Don't forget someone just because this person doesn't love you, too and maybe considers you just as a friend. Love shouldn't be based on a condition.

  • Don't throw your girl-friend in the swimming-pool, even if it might look funny. Don't embarrass her in front of everyone. Instead, enter the pool with your clothes :-) and show her that that gesture was surely not something she deserved.

  • Don't stop living, therefore don't stop loving!

  • Be aware of girls who just look at your bank account, rather than your true feelings.

  • No job is big or small, as long as it's done with all your heart.

  • Never say to your father that he looks stupid, fat and ugly.

  • Love somebody the way they are, not the way you want her/him to be.

  • Don't compromise in love.

  • Allow your daughter to love who she wants. Otherwise, she might commit suicide, you never know. How would you feel….?

  • Don't promise something to someone without asking the decision-maker for his permission beforehand.

  • If someone is about to be expelled from college by being caught coming back late at night - and you are in a position to help the person - then a white lie from your side might save the person's reputation and further life/career.

  • As a father-in-law allow your daughter-in-law to have a life, even if your son has died.

  • If you want to show your feelings and your love to someone, then do it! Write it down, be it a leaf or whatsoever.

  • Respect is earned by love not fear!
